With its 350,000 square foot storage areas and high density materials, the warehouse presented an engineering challenge to effect comprehensive RF coverage that would allow for uninterrupted broadband communications to a centrally located IBM AS 400 host in Chicago. 

ECCO designed a complete system that integrated Cisco Air 352 industrial Radio Frequency Access Points, Intermec 2435 Handheld Terminals and Symbol LS3200 Long Range Scanners.  A combination of effective design planning, accurate RF  survey, and seamless installation made for a flawless system that was 100% effective at startup.

ECCO started the project with a thorough survey and layout of the facility  to determine radio frequency range and access point locations. This allowed us to develop and accurate estimate of equipment so that there would be no surprises  at startup.  The use of Cisco industrial wireless access points makes integration into an existing network system seamless.
